Peggy Jo Blankenship, age 69, of Columbus died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Blankenship; parents, Earl and Marie (Rayburn) Dotson; sister, Marietta Dotson; brothers, Buford, Emerson, Harold, Emery & Ralph Dotson. Her survivors include her children, Teresa, Donna & Jeffrey (Sherry) Blankenship; six grandchildren, Stephany Marie Clark, Melissa Marie Blankenship, Carmen & Malory Blankenship, Tyler Fendt and Elizabeth Blankenship; great-grandson, Aiven Blankenship; brother, Warren Dotson; many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at RUTHERFORD-SHROYER FUNERAL HOME, 1278 West Broad St. Columbus with Pastor Ryan Dotson, officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
