Robert C. Byers, age 88, of Dublin and Naples, FL died Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing. Retired Vice President of Imports for George Byers and Sons, and WWII U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Panama, Guam and the Northern Marianas Islands (Tinian). Preceded in death by parents, Robert C. and Marjorie (Leist) Byers. Survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary; daughters, Robyn, Colleen and Darcy; grandchildren, Maegan, Jason, Ryan and Danielle, and sister, Marjorie; other relatives and friends. Member of First Community Church and Brookside County Club. Memorial service 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085 where friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until service time.
