Obituary:
Ireneo “Ernie” Tecson, age 57, of Powell, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 at Kobacker House. Ernie retired from Honda in 2009 after 19 years of service. Born in the Philippines to the late Vincente and Rosita Tecson, he is also preceded in death by his sister Nenita. Ernie is survived by his wife of 30 years, Pacita Tecson; children: Patrick Tecson, of Dublin and Ira Tecson, of Columbus; siblings: Corazon (Jose) San Pedro, Ernesto (Julia) Tecson, Rolondo (Renita) Tecson and Jaime Tecson; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Teodoro and Minda Velasco and the extended Velasco Family; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends from 2:00-6:00pm. SUNDAY at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 West Olentangy St., Powell, OH 43065 (614)-792-1471. (The funeral home is located on W. Olentangy St./Powell Rd./SR 750 ¼ mile east of Sawmill Parkway.) Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am. MONDAY, March 8, 2010 at ST. BRENDAN THE NAVIGATOR CATHOLIC CHURCH, 4475 Dublin Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026 with The Reverend Monsignor John G. Johnson, Celebrant. Private burial will be observed by the family at Resurrection Cemetery.
