Lawrence I. Bales, 70, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, March 23, 2009. He is preceded in death by his father, Irvin Bales and mother, Evelyn Handback; mother-in-law, Lovena Burke and father-in-law, Harold Burke; and son, Chris. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Judy; daughter, Penni; and son, Gary. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2009 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085. A service will be held 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Elder Tom Bender officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd., Newark, OH 43055.
